Desert Hills Community School of Music Opens Fall Saxophone Ensemble Registration

by Madonna

The Desert Hills Community School of Music is excited to announce the commencement of registration for its upcoming fall saxophone ensemble, set to launch on Sunday, October 8th.

This inclusive opportunity welcomes saxophonists of all ages and skill levels to participate in rehearsals, culminating in a concert performance on October 29th. The concert is open to the public, and all activities, including rehearsals and the final concert, will be held at the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church campus.

The DHCSM saxophone ensemble prides itself on its diverse composition, comprising musicians spanning a wide range of ages and backgrounds, from 11 to 84 years old. While the ensemble warmly welcomes participants of all skill levels, it is anticipated that individuals with a minimum of two years of saxophone playing experience will derive the greatest enjoyment from this musical endeavor.

To join this exciting ensemble, a nominal one-time participation fee of $25 is required. Moreover, all enrolled musicians will be granted a complimentary 45-minute saxophone lesson conducted by the ensemble’s accomplished leader, Jeffrey Anthony. This lesson offers the flexibility to cover ensemble materials, foundational skills, or any other musical aspects tailored to the player’s preferences.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of this vibrant musical community. Register for the Desert Hills Community School of Music’s fall saxophone ensemble and embark on a rewarding musical journey.
