Zildjian has unveiled its latest innovation with the introduction of the ALCHEM-E series electronic drum kits, marking their inaugural venture into producing complete drum kits.
The ALCHEM-E boasts the revolutionary Zildjian E-FAMILY cymbals, engineered to provide an authentic acoustic cymbal experience in terms of feel, responsiveness, subtlety, and appearance, coupled with unprecedented triggering accuracy and sensitivity thanks to the integrated Zildjian Trigger System.
Addressing a longstanding challenge in electronic drumming, Zildjian CEO John Stephans commented, “The perennial issue of rubber cymbal pads failing to replicate the authenticity of real cymbals has plagued drummers. Drawing from our four-century legacy of cymbal craftsmanship, we saw an opportunity to innovate and enhance the electronic drumming experience. Includes 14″ 3-zone HiHats, 16″ 3-zone Crash, 18″ 3-zone Crash/Ride, and the Zildjian E-VAULT (ZEV1) module.
