Sri Lanka’s marketing and technology industry achieved a major milestone as local agency Enfection, in collaboration with Keells, won a Silver Award at The Drum Awards Asia Pacific 2025 in the ‘Use of AI’ category. The award places Sri Lanka on the global creative map, as Enfection competed against top international brands, including campaigns for Google and Mastercard.
The Drum Awards APAC is one of the region’s most prestigious creative festivals, honoring innovation and effectiveness in marketing, advertising, and digital. This recognition marks one of the first global awards for AI-driven creative content from a Sri Lankan company.

“We’re proud to have executed a campaign that not only delivered business results but also demonstrated the power of creativity combined with cutting-edge technology,” said Niresh Muthuratnanandan, Head of Omni Commerce, Digital & Loyalty at Keells Supermarkets. “This award reflects our commitment to innovation and new storytelling formats.”
