Epiphone is setting a bold tone for 2025 with the expansion of its Inspired by Gibson Custom Collection, unveiling eight reissues of iconic vintage Gibson guitars — each redesigned to blend premium craftsmanship with greater accessibility.
With more than 150 years of guitar-making legacy, Epiphone continues to innovate by bridging its storied past with a modern vision for today’s musicians. Developed in close collaboration with the skilled artisans of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, this expanded collection further solidifies Epiphone’s commitment to delivering high-caliber instruments at every level of performance.
These new additions showcase Vintage Gloss finishes, designed to give each guitar a more era-accurate, worn-in appearance — not artificially aged, but rather as if they had been lovingly preserved in their cases for decades. This vintage-correct aesthetic is matched by technical upgrades: solid wood construction, one-piece necks, rosewood fretboards, and Gibson USA pickups hand-crafted at the Gibson Pickup Shop in Nashville.
These are the same pickups found in Gibson and Gibson Custom models, ensuring tonal authenticity across the board. Each guitar also features historically accurate design elements, such as the Reverse Firebird™ headstock on the 1963 Firebird V Reissue with Maestro™ Vibrola™ and 1963 Firebird I Reissue, along with the classic Gibson “open book” style headstocks on the remaining models.
