Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and his wife, Lauren Monroe, are set to host another star-studded benefit concert in New York City to support the city’s firefighters.
The Raven Drum Foundation, founded by the couple, will present its second annual benefit concert on April 25 at Manhattan’s Cutting Room. This year’s event will also honor former KISS drummer Peter Criss with the foundation’s prestigious Legacy Award.
Criss, Allen, and Monroe will take the stage alongside a lineup of renowned musicians, including former Blue Öyster Cult members Joe and Albert Bouchard, Mountain drummer Corky Laing, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts guitarist Ricky Byrd, and more.
The concert is being organized in collaboration with Friends of Firefighters and First Responder Resiliency Inc., with proceeds funding mental health counseling, education, and holistic care for first responders dealing with post-traumatic stress.
Attendees can also participate in a silent auction featuring exclusive rock memorabilia. Tickets for the event are available now.
Founded in 2001 by Allen and Monroe, the Raven Drum Foundation uses storytelling, music, and arts-based programs to support trauma survivors, with a particular focus on veterans and first responders.
