Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) will host Ben Folds & A Piano Tour on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM. Ben Folds, an influential figure in contemporary music, is widely recognized for his contributions to the industry. The Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter and composer has built a remarkable portfolio of genre-defying music, including pop albums with Ben Folds Five, numerous solo albums, and many collaborative projects.
Folds’ latest solo pop album, released in 2023, received widespread acclaim and sold-out performances. In 2024, he released his debut Christmas album, and last fall, he recorded a live album with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He served as the first Artistic Advisor to the NSO for eight years. Folds is currently touring as a pop artist while also performing with some of the world’s most prestigious symphony orchestras.
In addition to his musical achievements, Folds is a New York Times Best-Selling author and former podcast host. He is also working on new compositions for film, TV, and theatre, and regularly makes guest appearances in both films and television.
Tickets for the event are priced between $60 and $110 and will be available for purchase online starting Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Ben Folds is also dedicated to philanthropy, having launched the “Keys For Kids” initiative in 2022 in his home state of North Carolina. The program provides funding and keyboards to nonprofits that offer free or affordable piano lessons to school-age children from low-income households. Folds is also a strong advocate for the improvement of public policies for the arts and arts education, serving as a member of Americans For The Arts and the Arts Action Fund.
