On Sunday, March 30th at 2:30 pm, the newly established Szabo Chamber Music Society will present an exciting concert of Gypsy Piano Trios at Sacred Heart Church, located at 417 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY. The performance will feature nationally renowned musicians Cathy Yang (violin), Andy Kim (cello), and Dr. Sandor Szabo (piano), as shown in the photo above.
The program will showcase well-known piano trios inspired by gypsy music, including the lively Gypsy Trio in G Major by Haydn, the rhapsodic Dumki Trio in E Minor by Dvorak, and an assortment of energetic Hungarian Dances by Brahms. Dr. Szabo brings decades of experience in directing major music series across New Jersey and New York. He has served as Music Director/Organist at Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, NJ, and New Providence Presbyterian Church in New Providence, NJ. Currently, Dr. Szabo holds positions as the Music Director of the Oratorio Society of New Jersey, Music Director at Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston, NJ, and Music Director at Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Pompeii Parish in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
Ticket prices are as follows: Adults $20, Seniors $15, and Students $5. SCMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are fully tax-deductible.
