BFD Drums has announced the release of BFD 3.5, marking the latest evolution of FXpansion’s flagship acoustic drum studio software. According to a company spokesperson, this new version takes virtual drumming to an unprecedented level by offering enhanced realism, precision, and control. The update introduces an expanded core library, mix-ready presets, and advanced drum modeling, while also providing seamless support for Apple Silicon AAX and VST3. These improvements aim to deliver a more dynamic and customizable drum production experience than ever before.

Building on its reputation as a premier drum production tool, BFD 3.5 introduces an upgraded engine with industry-leading features designed to elevate realism and sonic customization. The software now includes a redesigned workflow that enhances precision and flexibility, allowing musicians and producers to create drum tracks with greater depth. Built-in mixing tools provide access to 48 high-quality audio effects, including 13 from AIR Music Tech, offering professional-grade drum processing capabilities. A newly introduced microphone panel further refines multi-mic control, allowing users to adjust individual microphone levels and placements with ease.
