A video featuring QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Todd La Torre recording drum tracks for the song “Plastic” from TWIZTID’s latest album, “Welcome To Your Funeral,” is now available to watch below. The album was officially released on February 14.
La Torre, who has been playing drums since the age of 13, previously recorded drum tracks for QUEENSRŸCHE’s 2019 album, “The Verdict,” stepping in after original drummer Scott Rockenfield took time off to focus on family.
Produced by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (ROB ZOMBIE, HATEBREED, DEMON HUNTER, QUEENSRŸCHE), TWIZTID’s latest release fuses high-energy underground rap with hard-hitting rock influences reminiscent of KORN and LINKIN PARK. The album carries the duo’s signature authenticity, integrity, and raw emotion—qualities that have earned them fans across genres, including artists like Jelly Roll and ICE NINE KILLS.
TWIZTID has built an independent empire, racking up multiple Billboard chart entries and sharing the stage with bands like STATIC-X, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, and ATTILA. Their music delivers an intensely powerful catharsis, taking listeners on an emotional journey through darkness, anxiety, and paranoia.
“Welcome To Your Funeral” was entirely produced, mixed, engineered, and mastered by Zeuss, with additional engineering from Fritz “The Cat” Von Kosky. The album’s vocals were recorded at The Dojo in Livonia, Michigan, drums at Dexter’s Lab Recording in Milford, Connecticut, and additional tracking at Planet Z in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Madrox and Monoxide handled all vocal duties on the record.
With “Welcome To Your Funeral,” TWIZTID embarks on their next chapter of “evilution,” delivering a sound fueled by unrelenting emotion and a fight for sanity. The album sets the stage for an even more intense future for the Demented Duo.
