An internationally renowned ensemble will visit Nairn next month for the latest concert in a well-loved music series.
The Odysseus Piano Trio is set to perform at Nairn Community & Arts Centre on Friday, March 7, at 7:30 pm, as part of Music Nairn’s programme.
The evening’s repertoire will feature a selection of works, including Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 1 Op. 8 in B major, Dvořák’s Op. 90 No. 4 in E minor ‘Dumky’ Trio, and Helen Grime’s ‘Three Whistler Miniatures’.
Formed in 2015, the trio consists of three acclaimed musicians—Sara Trickey (violin), Rosie Biss (cello), and Domonkos Csabay (piano)—each enjoying successful solo careers.
Organisers describe the ensemble as “dynamic and deeply expressive,” praised for delivering both classical and contemporary works with remarkable artistry.
Having performed at prestigious venues across the UK and Europe, the trio is widely celebrated for its refined interpretations, uniting a passion for chamber music with a commitment to engaging audiences through beloved masterpieces and fresh new compositions.
