Following a sold-out performance by American pianist Reed Tetzloff, the Key Biscayne Piano Festival continues to impress with another highly anticipated performance. For their second-to-last concert of the season, the festival is bringing world-renowned classical pianist Ariel Lanyi to the stage.
Lanyi’s concert will take place at 7 p.m. on February 21, 2025, at the Crossbridge Church in Key Biscayne. At just 27 years old, Lanyi has already earned international acclaim, receiving top prizes at prestigious piano competitions, including the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2021.
In addition to his success in competition, Lanyi has performed with esteemed orchestras such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
For his Key Biscayne performance, Lanyi will present a program featuring works by Schubert and Chopin, offering a captivating blend of classical repertoire for the audience.
The concert will be followed by a selection of light refreshments. Admission is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is part of the Key Biscayne Piano Festival’s season in collaboration with the Miami International Piano Festival. The final solo piano concert of the season will also be held at Crossbridge Church on March 14, 2025.
