Experience the magic of PRS Guitars’ milestone event with the official video capturing the sold-out celebration at House of Blues in Anaheim. Join Paul Reed Smith and a lineup of special guests as they honor four decades of excellence in guitar craftsmanship.
PRS Guitars has officially released the full video documenting their 40th Anniversary celebration, which took place on January 24th during the 2025 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show. The exclusive, sold-out event at House of Blues in Anaheim, California, featured electrifying performances by PRS artists, including Randy Bowland, Curt Chambers, David Grissom, Jon Jourdan, Howard Leese, Mark Lettieri Group, Herman Li, John Mayer, Orianthi, Tim Pierce, Noah Robertson, Shantaia, Philip Sayce, and Dany Villarreal. Paul Reed Smith himself also took the stage with his band, Eightlock.
“What an unforgettable night! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—retailers, distributors, vendors, content creators, industry friends, and especially the artists. I enjoyed every moment,” said Paul Reed Smith, Founder & Managing General Partner of PRS Guitars. “It’s incredible to be celebrating 40 years, and we’re thrilled to share this special night with everyone through this video.”
With nearly 1,400 key figures from the musical instrument industry in attendance, the evening concluded with a heartfelt toast from PRS Signature Artist John Mayer. Reflecting on PRS Guitars’ four-decade legacy, Mayer emphasized the brand’s unmatched quality.
“The guitars are great. You don’t last 40 years if the guitars aren’t great,” Mayer remarked. “Many of you first heard about PRS the same way I did—people saying, ‘They’re too nice.’ What does that even mean for a guitar? Do you really want that ‘special vibe’ of having to retune every song on stage? Do you want the same bad intonation as your heroes? The fact is, PRS makes an incredible product.”
Now, fans and industry professionals alike can relive this remarkable night with the full video release.
