by Madonna

Renowned guitarist Sean Chambers is set to electrify the blues rock scene with the release of his latest album, Live From Daryl’s House Club, arriving February 28 via Quarto Valley Records. The label, known for representing legendary artists such as Paul Rodgers, Edgar Winter, and Savoy Brown, also supports contemporary talents like Tom Hambridge.

“I’m beyond excited about Live From Daryl’s House Club, which we recorded in May 2024 at the iconic venue owned by Daryl Hall,” Chambers shares. “The band was on fire, the crowd was incredible, and the energy that night was just amazing!”

“I hope listeners enjoy this live album as much as we loved recording it,” he adds. “The setlist includes songs from my previous albums along with a few handpicked Savoy Brown tracks that we love playing. Performing with Pat and Garnet from the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section is always a thrill—we have a great connection both on and off the stage. I think that chemistry shines through in the music.”

Chambers first connected with members of Savoy Brown after a festival performance in 2019. Following the passing of Savoy Brown’s founder and leader, Kim Simmonds, in 2022, Sean teamed up with bassist Pat De Salvo and drummer Garnet Grimm, both from the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section. With all three musicians already part of the Quarto Valley Records family, the collaboration felt natural. Before his passing, Simmonds gave the trio his full blessing.

With the release of Live From Daryl’s House Club, these three accomplished musicians have solidified themselves as one of the most powerful blues-rock trios performing today. Together, Chambers, De Salvo, and Grimm continue to tour across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Born in Florida, Chambers began his blues career in 1998 as the guitarist and bandleader for the legendary Hubert Sumlin, a role he held until 2003. During this time, Guitarist Magazine recognized him as “One of the Top 50 Blues Guitarists of the Last Century.”

His 2009 album Ten Til Midnight earned widespread acclaim, staying on the Living Blues charts for three months after its release. The album’s title track was featured on The House of Blues Radio Hour as a “Blues Breaker” and became a “Pick to Click” on SiriusXM’s Blues Channel.

In 2011, Chambers released Live from the Long Island Blues Warehouse, which featured searing renditions of blues classics, including Full Moon on Main Street by The Kinsey Report and a fiery take on Elmore James’ Dust My Broom reminiscent of Johnny Winter. The album became a “Pick to Click” on B.B. King’s Bluesville XM/Sirius chart for six weeks and was later named “Best Live Blues Album of 2011” by Blues Underground Network. Guitar Player Magazine and Vintage Guitar Magazine both profiled Chambers the following year.

His 2013 release, The Rock House Sessions, was nominated for a 2014 Blues Blast Music Award. In 2017, Trouble & Whiskey debuted at #11 on the Billboard Blues Chart and #7 on the Living Blues chart in its first week. His 2018 album, Welcome To My Blues, also made waves, reaching #9 on the Billboard Blues Chart and earning a Blues Blast Music Award nomination.

Chambers recorded his eighth album, That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, as a tribute to his mentor, Hubert Sumlin. Released in 2021 through Quarto Valley Records, the album landed in the Top Ten on the Billboard Blues Chart and received worldwide praise.

“It’s incredible to see a young artist like Sean Chambers honoring the legacy of Hubert Sumlin,” one critic noted. “Hubert was bending strings before anyone else, and his influence shines through in Sean’s playing.”

With Live From Daryl’s House Club, Chambers continues to build on his legacy, delivering electrifying performances and keeping the spirit of blues-rock alive.
