Ibanez has launched its 2025 AZ Standard series, offering high-quality features at a budget-friendly price. The series includes Roasted Maple necks, jumbo stainless steel frets, and the versatile Dyna-MIX switching system, making it a perfect blend of performance and affordability.
The AZ Standard series expands on Ibanez’s successful AZ lineup, sitting between the AZ Essentials and AZ Premium models in both price and performance. Designed to deliver an ideal balance of quality and cost, the AZ Standards offer many of the same premium features as their higher-end counterparts.
Players familiar with the AZ Premium series will recognize the Roasted Maple necks, jumbo stainless steel frets, Dyna-MIX switching system, locking tuners, and the comfortable Super All-Access neck joint in the AZ Standards. Despite these premium features, the AZ Standard models are priced around $549.99. Ibanez has kept costs down by simplifying certain specifications while maintaining superior sound and playability.
The AZ Standard series includes two models:
AZ22S1F: A 22-fret HSS model featuring Classic Custom pickups.
AZ24S1F: A 24-fret HH model equipped with Modern Custom Humbuckers.
This new series aims to provide an exceptional combination of performance and affordability, enhancing the already popular AZ series.
